Whoa, Buddy!

Phew! Seemed a little close :-) But he was just parking next to us.

Peter van Straten @ Casa Labia Gallery

His work is so awesome – these were my two favourite ones but every piece makes you think, makes you wonder. © Peter van Straten

The artist, Theresa Jo

In 1985/6 I went to an exhibition of an artist, Theresa Jo Naude. She had just returned from France, where she had completed her 2 year scholarship. I bought 4 pieces of art, although I couldn't afford it, but I had to have it! I had often wondered what had happened to her. Then in a gallery in Kalk Bay some of her work was exhibited. I asked the assistant if he knew where she was living, and gasp, it was her gallery, and suddenly there she was in lewende lywe, OMW! It was so wonderful to meet her and we had a good chat and a laugh. Her work is still incredible. Artvark Gallery, Kalk Bay.

Good morning! Indeed!

OMW, look at that mountain! View from the flat - Bloubergstrand (Blaauwbergstrand). Saturday morning.

And the winner is...

Pendoring evening was great. Big thank you to our client for the Pendoring tickets and our company for sponsoring our flights. Mwah!

Liefling

The Gugulethu Tenors sang Ge Korsten's Liefling at the Pendoring. It was wonderful! Applause, applause! My heart was filled with tears.

Sundowners

Cocktails in Camps Bay, as the sun sets. Friday.

Someone is rearranging the world as we know it.
