Three ladies

Trish keeps making things that I admire and then they come to live at my house. Like these three ladies. The one she embroidered, probably last year (maybe earlier this year) and was inspired by Frida, or inspired by a picture of Frida. In her pottery class she has made a range of oval plates with faces. She made some really gorgeous ones, and is making many more, although she is now using a round mould.

Threadbear, the bear

How lovely is this little bear? A gift to share with my nieces. Threadbear is looking forward to many adventures she can write about in her travel journal. Thanks T.

This and that

one - I love reading. two - Trish embroidered my jeans for summer, can't wait. Need to get the right sandals and colour nail polish. three - My birthday present, all the way from England. four - I have to take this picture every time I go. Love the light, shadow and patterns. five - I am crocheting up a storm. Love it. six - Asked someone for their heirlooms because I know I can make something fantastic with it. seven - My first attempt at embroidery. It's fun.
