... and it all came down!

My father always kept records of the rainfall, he charted graphs to compare year on year rainfall and to see whether there were any patterns. If he told me something about the weather I trusted him.  Somehow I started doing the same thing. When it rained we would phone one another to compare notes.
Now years later I'm still going outside after the rain to see how much has fallen.
