Way back when

In an antique store in Kalk Bay I found this first day cover. It is from the year I was in Windhoek, and features the airport tower, which is where I was working at the time. When I left school I didn't know what career path I wanted to follow but my dad told me that in the meantime I would have to do something. I applied at SAA as a ground stewardess (check-in clerk, really) and transferred to Windhoek. Soon after I knew what I wanted to do, but again my father said I was to finish what I started, committed to - I had signed a 2 year contract with SAA. I enjoyed Namibia so much.

China stamp

I love this stamp - I would love it as a large artwork on my wall at home.

Ohgaarh! Wehawwehaa! Hcccccccccccgh!

I found these stamps I bought 2 years ago. Dinosaurs printed in 3D, like them movies. WOW!
Forgive me if I've place this before, I really don't remember, it's the age thing. A wicked thing.
