Another language, another perspective


So, more things borrowed from the Goethe-Institut library, some DVDs this time. It's pretty much the luck of the draw because I don't know any of the directors etc, so my selection was based on packaging alone.
Watched the first two short films on MY WALL last night, enjoyed them both. Learned about the island of Kivalina, Alaska where global warming is so in-their-face, their 250m beach has disappeared but they don't want to leave, they want to preserve their tribe and their way of life.
