Decorative panel

I have had a piece of wood for 2 years now and decided, at last, to do something with it. Created this panel for my therapy room. 600mm x 600mm.

Just do it yourself

I wanted this done yesterday and my contractor was ill, so I just did it myself. Have to still finish it, fill it and furnish it ;-)

Here today, gone tomorrow

I had to have my palm tree removed. It was struck by lightning last year and I was hoping it would make it, but it has slowly been dying. I'm sad. It was one of two trees on my property when I moved in.

Christmas in July

The MH party is under way. Beautiful. And delicious food.

PrettyUgly presentation

Well, I presented the PrettyUglys to the Kamers team yesterday morning. Waiting for a yes or no ;-)
Geoff and Nikki gave me the flowers to wish me luck. I displayed the PrettyUglys in my gran's old suitcase. Wanda called Wespar a wolf, he was a little upset but managed to keep his mouth shut. The Kamers team kept 4 PrettyUglys for photography, for the magazine. And then I spent the rest of the day in bed reading. It was wonderful.

Her Majesteas Salon - revisited

Went through to Heidelberg on Saturday for lunch. Her Majesteas Salon - high tea parlour. Delicious oxtail pot pie and the best-in-the-world-ever lemon meringue. Yum. What a lovely afternoon.

These flowers are still from my birthday, three weeks ago. And they were not from WW ;-)

Christmas decorations

I am drying these as part of my Christmas decorations. Once they're dry I am going to spray them this very same colour. I can picture it all already. Awesome. Ha ha.

This and that continued

Metalwork - love the colours. Fairylights - magical evenings in the garden. Breakfast - Bacon, leek, cheese quiche. Rain and shine - it rained with the sun out, followed by thunder and clouds. Yarn bomb - my dogs yarn bombing my garden. Prank - they filled Chris' office with balloons for his birthday. Happy birthday Chris ;-) Winter warmers - made 3 pairs of fingerless gloves. It's been cold!
