The torn tree

Last year my palm tree was struck by lightning and had to be taken down. The tree next to it only revealed this year that it had also been affected when it split during a wild wind storm last week. Regrettably, we had to have it fell too. On the upside our kitchen is now flooded with warm and toasty morning light.

This and that – winter edition

one - a wall waiting for spring. two - detail of a fabulous Deborah Bell painting at the Turbine Hall. three - flowers in my therapy room. four - a sliver from my palm tree that was cut down. Have sealed it and am going to hang it on the wall. five - I made this stencil to put onto my tiles but I don't like the green colour after all. six - I like the contrast.

Adding some sparkle to the garden

I added some decorations to a tree that has died. We chopped it down and I took a branch, 'planted' in a pot and added some bling. I have placed it at the front door. Welcome everyone!

Lost and found

I found these up a tree at Delta Park, I wonder if they have been forgotten. Will someone come back for them?
