Fish market of Istanbul

Saw these colourful balloons along the shoreline while walking to the fish market. It looks so pretty, but they are lined up to be shot down/popped with a pellet gun. They were just opening for the day at the fish market. The market faces the road and behind them facing the sea are the restaurants.
