Cosmos season

Cosmos season was about a month ago, but you can still find the odd flower on the side of the road. There is a small holding on the way to my evening classes that has a whole field of cosmos, all in white. So beautiful. The gate was open and I wanted to drive in, but I didn't. And only because I wouldn't want some random person driving unto my property either, no matter their motivation.

I tried to photograph the Blackjacks but the wind was blowing them about all the time. So I overlapped the 4 pics I took to create the movement.

Where the wild things are

We couldn't face another full weekend of DIY, so we went to a place, close to home, where the wild things are ;-)

I love the waterbuck, and the eland and seeing the string of wildebeest walking down we ask ourselves: Are we in the Serengeti? Ha, ha, kidding. The day was hot and the grass is still dry and I imagine once we have had some rain it will be difficult to find the animals.

Set in concrete

Spent some time at Vasco Hendriques on Saturday afternoon. It was wonderful. Take a look and see.
