Snowed everywhere but here
Yesterday it seemed to have snowed everywhere but here. Argh! Everyone was phoning, all excited, from suburbs all around us, even Pretoria, but we only got 5 flakes.

Get together
In the late afternoon the glossy starlings gather in the trees around my house. I wanted to photograph a few together, but no such luck.
Flowers, in the breeze
I made these flower mobiles, using craft paper. you're suppose to sew the pieces together but my sewing machine doesn't like paper, so I glued them.
